This was a scheduled as a group trip, but two of the others canceled at the last minute so Ethical Wildlife took me alone. No cost increase. They honored their word of when one person signs up, the trip is on.
This was a nine day trip visiting two iconic tiger reserves. Bandhavgarh & Kanha National Parks in central India. Remember that tigers are wild animals and they choose when and where to show themselves.
They picked me up at the Delhi hotel and were with me through out the tour and dropped me off at the Nagpur airport. I had been to this airport previously so it was not a problem getting back to Delhi.
The thing that this company does is vet the drivers and guides to find the most reliable and proficient in locating tigers in the parks. Having the same team each day for each park is an great benefits as you get to know their style and vice versa.
Comfortable lodges with meals. There is an added benefit of this tour as you get to stay in the same lodge multiple nights in a row. As the morning safari entered the park at 6:30a, breakfast is brought along to have at a rest stop within the park.
While this did not apply to my tour, they have a maximum of four people beyond the driver and guide in the safari gypsy vehicle. Most tourist vehicles are stuffed with six people and with westerners it is literally cheek to cheek time.
They have a “skipper” with the tour. This is someone from the company that is responsible for working the details of the tour on location. This is valuable with directing the driver to get those best angles when a tiger is sighted. Most of the guides and drivers speak little English, but the skippers fill that gap to make sure communication flows smoothly.
Overall, a worthwhile trip and I shall return to India for more tiger safaris in the future with Ethical Wildlife.

My experience with ethical wildlife has been serene. From the point of contact till the end of the trip the process has been smooth. Tour leader Naresh was extremely kind and warm constantly checking that everything is going fine with me and has managed the tour very professionally. We were a bit skeptical about the tour, as we were visiting a place with difficult terrain and challenging weather conditions, especially with people we were interacting with for the first time. But trust me, all our doubts completely vanished.
The entire program was extremely well organized — from the vehicles to even hair oil (yes, hair oil!). They had taken care of every little detail, leaving absolutely no room for error. The cherry on top was hot lunch/ hot tea breaks on filed at height of 4000 mtr above sea level.
Hats off to Team Ethical for such wonderful planning and execution. A special thanks to Mr. Sachin and Mr. Naresh — they never allowed us to feel that we were in a remote location. Their support, coordination, and care made the experience truly comfortable and memorable.

Our trip was organised while in the UK. Sachin took care of the itinerary as per our request.
All the travel arrangements were well thought out and the resorts were to our liking
Panna National Parkwas our first visit in the morning and immediately upon entering the park we were thrilled to see a tigress and two cubs. Later on we saw a male tiger 663. It was an awesome experience for nearly 30 minutes. Next visit the following day was in the afternoon no tiger sightings but but we saw other wildlife. The trip was in the morning and we saw a tigress 652 a sheer beauty. The driver and guides were excellent. Sachin made sure that he was the first with our gypsy. Thereafter we drove to Bandhavgarh National
We had a morning safari and saw 3 cubs some distance away but enjoyed the sighting. In the afternoon we saw two male tigers. Next day we had a trip and enjoyed the wildlife. One trip as we left the park a male tiger was resting not far from the road. 10 tiger sightings in total.
Sachin also takes beautiful photos.
He made sure we were well looked after and we thoroughly recommend him

Recently visited Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve and it was an experience of a lifetime, all thanks to Ethical Wildlife. I wanted to take my folks on a different experience and what could be more unique than looking for tigers in the most beautiful forest. I came across Ethical Wildlife while I was in Australia and got in touch with them about my upcoming trip to India. It would have been such a hassle to organise everything myself as I have been a bit out of touch with the system. So i left all the responsibilities to Ethical Wildlife and they did a splendid job. Everything was smoothly organised, from permits to stay at the forest guest house, so we could just relax and enjoy the safari. The team was responsive, helpful, and clearly knowledgeable about the park and wildlife. I had the pleasure of learning about wildlife photography from Sachin himself and it was a joy. I had a lovely time on an ethical wildlife adventure in Ranthambore, where we stayed at a jungle cave resort. Mr. Ronnie’s profound knowledge made every moment informative. The encounter with the tiger was unforgettable. Together with our family, we enjoyed a fantastic day exploring the resort’s safari amenities. The optimum time to visit is from October to March, though visibility might be low in December and January due to fog. This was the most incredible experience we had, and we would absolutely return for their next ethical wildlife excursion.

From the time we signed up for the expedition Ethical Wildlife was there with support and advice. They facilitated what would have been a very confusing and nerve-wracking experience navigating the Delhi airport by providing an escort from the time of our arrival until we were safely in our ride to the hotel. The attention to our well-being continued throughout the expedition and until we boarded the plane to return home 16 days later.
Every day was filled with action-packed adventure, and most days, many tiger close encounters. Sachin Sarbalia and his assistant Naresh (both accomplished photographers and videographers) were with the group on every safari and other activities as well. Their attention to detail in preparation prior to, and during, the safaris was just as detail oriented as the rest of the activities with their actions based solely on our needs and desires.
Sachin has been doing these safaris for some time and has established trusted guides and drivers at the different tiger reserves to assure his guests receive the best insight into tiger behavior and the best chances for encounters. We also saw a wide variety of birds and mammals to photograph during the times between tiger encounters.
The tours to temples and Taj Mahal were of the same caliber as the safaris with professional guides leading them. The whole trip was an over-the top adventure at an affordable price. We will be back!

my partner Steve and I choose the Tiger Marathon. From the start of planning the trip, to ensuring we reached our flight home, the service we received was exceptional. Sachin Sarbalia, the founder of Ethical Wildlife, and Naresh Dhami, both photographers and passionate about nature, shared their experience and knowledge of wildlife, the culture around us, and their photography skills with us. Sachin’s attention to detail to make our trip the best possible is noteworthy. There are many special memories I have brought home with me. Most notable, I think, would be witnessing the land and wildlife at sunrise, watching tigers emerge from the forest, a tiger lapping water from the river, the calls from the forest as the tiger walks through, the Taj Mahal and other UNESCO sites. All of the animal and bird sightings were special. If you are a photographer and/or wildlife enthusiast, and like comfortable stays, I would recommend this trip.
