Bandhavgarh is located in the Vindhya hills of Madhya Pradesh and is well-known for having the highest density of tigers. The park contains an ancient fort, the Bandhavgarh Fort, which adds a historical dimension to this wilderness experience.
Flora:
The vegetation is thickly forested sal and bamboo, grassland with mixed deciduous trees. The forest is greenest in the post-monsoon season and provides the best sightings when the forest is dry.

Bandhavgarh is rightly famed for its healthy tiger population, and the park includes leopards, striped hyena, wild boar and spotted deer are also present. Additionally, it is one of the very few reserves that feature the elusive white tiger (in the historical perspective).
